Cycling is Mental !!

It’s all about marginal gains right? As cyclists we tweak our positions on the bike, upgrade our equipment, invest in better kit and crunch the data all in a bid to squeeze out the best performance we can.

You can follow a training plan perfectly and prepare your body well, but if your mind hasn’t been trained then you could fall short of your targets.

Training your mind is one of the most effective ways to improve your ability as a cyclist.  British Cycling has retained a sports psychologist since 2005,  and you too can benefit from building mental skills.

The Mind Coach works with athletes from all sports, particularly cyclists – possibly because competitive cycling is all about who can suffer the most!!  I help with all aspects of mental fitness, from effective goal‐setting through to race day preparation.

I work with athletes to identify and banish any limiting beliefs or behaviours that are acting as barriers to reaching their potential. This can be anything, from building self-belief to learning how to stay in the hurt locker longer.

If you’d like to know more please get in touch for a no obligation chat. You won’t get a hard sell but you will get to talk to someone who’s passionate about helping people be their best
